Meet the Owners

Jared Wheeler has worked in the construction industry his entire life. 

As an Idaho Native and 4th Generation in the Construction Industry, Jared is passionate about continuing the legacy of American Construction Supply and strives to build and grow the company. Jared looks to have meaningful relationships with employees, customers and suppliers. 

As the Chief Executive Officer at American, Jared manages the company's overall operations. This includes delegating and directing agendas, driving profitability while also overseeing the accounting and financial well-being of the company, managing company organizational structure, developing strategy, and communicating with the American leadership team. For Jared, people are what matter most at the end of the day. In his own words, “You are only as good as the people around you.” 

Jared has a Bachelor's Degree in business management with an emphasis in finance, accounting and marketing from BYU-Idaho. His skills and expertise include finance, accounting, marketing and team building. 

Jared is married to his sweetheart of 14+ years and has 4 amazing children. He loves to spend time with his family. In his free time, you can find him golfing, swimming in the summer, skiing in winter, and hanging out at home watching movies.

With a focus on Personal Development & Company Culture, Kam's Vision & Leadership have helped American to become The Premier Source of Innovation, Training, Equipment, Systems & Products anywhere in the Construction Industry. With more than 15 years in the Construction Industry, Kam also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering Degrees. In addition, Kam gained valuable experience while working for one of the Largest Construction Firms in the World in Mortenson Construction. Gaining valuable experience in both the Federal Contracting & Renewable Energy Divisions of Mortenson, Kam has been able to bring unique experience with him to American. Growing up in Construction as a 4th Generation Member of the Industry, Kam's background, and knowledge have helped reach clients throughout the world, and has helped make American the number one name in the industry. 

Having been the guy sweeping the shop, cleaning the toilets, bending rebar, stacking concrete forms, & every other spot along the way has helped me to see, understand, and appreciate the role of every person on the team in a successful organization. An organization only exists to benefit the people that it serves. Focusing on and caring about people will take you places that loving money never will.

Aside from work, Kam is highly involved in the community through non-profit organizations & coaching youth sports. He loves coaching & playing sports with his kids.
